E-commerce merchants are balancing a number of issues with respect to their platform decisions as they look to the future. In the next year, many 3 and 4 year platform contracts will expire so there are many e-commerce merchants across different industries that will be looking to replatform in the next year. Keep in mind that the average eCommerce replatform for a merchant doing at least a few million in revenue can take a minimum of 4 months and a maximum of up to a year depending upon their setup, the number of integrations they have, the number of storefronts and the complexity of the business.
